How deep do you grind your stumps?

-We grind stumps at approximately a depth of 4 to 6 inches below ground level which is standard for lawn restoration.

Will you contact 811 prior to grinding?

-Yes!  In order to provide a safe environment for our customers and employees, Piedmont Stump Grinding LLC will contact 811 to schedule a utility location prior to ALL services. 

Do estimates have to be done in person?

-Yes!  In order to provide an accurate quote we will schedule an in person estimate.  Typical areas of consideration that effect pricing include the stump width and height, sub terrain (rocks) and accessibility.

Do you provide chip removal service?

-At this time we do not remove grindings however, grindings make an excellent source for mulch! 

Are you insured?

-Yes!  We are a completely insured and licensed LLC providing you with piece of mind.

I have a stump in my backyard.  Will your grinder fit through my gate?

-Our professional grade equipment has a width of 35.5" allowing it to pass through most narrow openings. 

In addition to stump grinding, do you prune or remove trees?

-Piedmont Stump Grinding specializes in the removal of stumps and does not perform other tree services.
